The complaint is submitted by the Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO) on behalf of 474 civil society organisations in Myanmar.
The complainants contend that Telenor ASA has failed to act in accordance with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises when it comes to risk-based due diligence, stakeholder dialogue and disclosure in their disengagement from Myanmar.
The complaint relates to the following chapters of the OECD Guidelines: General Policies (Chapter II), Disclosure (Chapter III) and Human Rights (Chapter IV).
The NCP has determined that the submission merits further consideration.
The NCP’s Final Statement was published on 11 December 2025.
