The RBC Compass is a test-yourself tool that provides an overview of the extent to which your company meets the expectations in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct.

In the Excel tool, you respond to statements about how the company is performing in relation to the expectations set out in the OECD Guidelines, what goals you have, and which measures you plan to take to achieve those goals. It is also possible to start by simply entering the current status and gradually fill in goals and actions over time. All topics covered by the OECD Guidelines have been given their own worksheet in the Excel tool—from human rights to anti-corruption, and environment and climate. Everything is then summarized in a separate overview. In this way, management and the board can also quickly gain an overview of existing gaps that need be filled.

The tool was developed by NCP Norway in collaboration with KPMG, based on the first version that NCP Norway developed in cooperation with Stakeholder/Kristin Holter.
