Specific instances, or complaints, handled by the NCPs are a valuable source of knowledge, whether you want to strengthen your due diligence work or are considering submitting a complaint.

Since the mechanism was established in 2000, NCPS have handled more than 650 cases connected to companies’ activities in more than 100 countries.

What are the complaints about?

AREAS: Since 2011, most cases handled by the NCPs have been related to:

51% Human rights
48% Labour rights

COMPLAINANTS: Since 2011, the majority of the complaints have been filed by:

39% Vicil society orgnisations
33% Trade unions
19% Individuals

RESULTATS: Since 2011, 56% of the cases have resulted in an agreement.

NCP Norway handles complaints against companies operating in and from Norway. We publish the status of ongoing cases, as well as the results and documentation for all concluded cases handled by the NCP.
